Default Ref. Hard Drive Cooling

I have purchased 2 Hard Drive enclosures to be used with the USB
port..
The box has one miniscule fan that is not sufficient to cool the
drives. After a couple of hours the hard drive started giving errors.
I place the Hard Drive in the fridge for a couple of hours and after
that made a copy of the "sick" drive.

I want to install a fan in each box that should be close to the area
were most of the heat is generated. I don't think it is the
controlling board and not the disks. Probably the motor.

Any suggestions?

John
