Default RADEON 9800SE

There is a local whole saler that is selling "OEM ATI RADEON 9800SE
128 DDR DH TVO DX9" for US$180.00. What exactly is the difference
between the 9800 SE and the 9800?

big difference. SE is 128bit with 4 pipelines, and the 9800 (and Pro) are
256bit 8 pipelines. on some SE versions (if you are very lucky, I wasn't) it
is possible to unlock the other 4 pipelines if the card is 256bit and has L
shaped memory by using modified or omega drivers. and affcourse there is a
difference in speeds if I'm not mistaken. bye.

On the Se the processor and memory clocks are much slower and lower overall
quality.

There are many different variants of the 9800SE cards. Look at here
