Its output is usually 19 volts DC and should not cause any oscillation in the laptop computer. Can you have somebody with a meter check the output of the AC adapter? You could also try running the laptop with the battery removed. This would take the battery load off the adapter and might change the problem. Post your results. Bob |

Then it probably doesn't need to be fixed - and can't be. Magnetostriction
whine in a SMPS is a design flaw and you have to live with it. If I press it (by hand) it sounds less.. have I to open it and to do something? Mhaxx |

But you have to know what you are doing. |
