Does anyone know how to get the all in wonder radeon tv part to work with windows xp media edition or media edition 2004

These f*cking ATI drivers, I've totally uninstalled, cleaned system as per article on web, then reinstalled. Still the DVD player won't start, ATIMMC just consumes 99% CPU, and now I can't tune the TV - the Autoscan button is greyed out. I've tried the KSTVTUNE.AX file fix for DX9b but still...
