WinXP refresh rate issue & 9800 Pro? by
John
So I've upgraded from Nvidia to Radeon (a 9800 Pro card is on its way)
and I'm wondering what Radeon users do about the Windows XP refresh
rate problem in games (always staying at 60Hz).
With my Nvidia card I used a 3rd party utility to change the registry
settings to override what Windows XP had...

I recently purchased an AverMedia UltraTV PCI 300 card to compliment my ATI
Rage 128 PRO video card with Rage Theater Chip. My primary purpose for this
card is to watch TV on my computer using a CATV signal (delivered via coax).
Turns out that the AverMedia card will not work because the Rage...

MSI KT6 Delta With ATI 9600XT Problem Solved! by
Jim
I could never use my ATI 9600XT card with my MSI KT6 Delta MB set at 8X AGP.
I had to use 4X AGP or lockups would occur.
The problem was solved by downloading the latest VIA 4in1 Drivers (v4.51).
The latest drivers on MSI's site are only 4.49 and they will cause lock-ups
with the AGP set at 8X.
I...

Just re-installed Windows XP Pro, it is fully updated (including DirectX
9.0b and sound drivers). Installed BF1942 and the ATI Catalyst 3.10 drivers
and I'm getting weird textures when I'm in planes or vehicles. It's almost
impossible to play. I used the ATI uninstall utility and tried a couple...

Measure core and memory frequency by
Navid
Hello,
I have a 9600 pro and am using radclocker to overclock it.
Is there a tool/utility that I can use to measure the agp core
and memory frequency?
I would like to use a utility other than radclocker itself to
confirm that the frequency is what I think it is.
Thanks for any suggestions,

Radeon 9600 Pro Problems by
Grzegorz Pęczek
Hi all,
I have an awful problem with my Radeon 9600 Pro.
In Direct3D apps (mostly recent games and latest 3dmark) the 3D graphics is
displayed with many errors. Textures flicker, pixels are lost, some poligons
are "flying" randomly all over the screen.
I've tried different Catalyst drivers,...

attach them.

Can't select Fastwrite or 8x? by
Iain Mackenzie
I have a 9700 Pro on a Abit NF7S board, but I can't select either fastwrite
or 8X AGP in the driver tabs. Well, not quite true - I can select them, but
on reboot they just return to Fastwrite OFF and AGP 4X.
I have them enabled in CMOS.
What is wrong here?
Thanks
Iain

I have access to a Samsung 240T LCD monitor that is driven by a
Sapphire Radeon 9000 at 1920x1200 via a DVI connection. Windows XP
works fine at 1920x1200 resolution.
