Power Supply Question by Gary Hegan
They are good PSU put not the best when you put the load and heat to them. Most PSU are rated to run at 550 Watt at 25C. When you start heating it up and pushing the PSU to 40C your max wattage will drop to about 366 Watts. You show me a PSU that runs at 25C when it is in operation. There is...

New Build Problems - Q6600 / GA-P35-DSP3 by Withheld at Owners Request
New build - spent 4 days on it... had it what I thought was done until I started adding usb devices - once I add more than 1 it will hang at the Testing Memory prompt - usually getting to "Testin " - then pause for 4-5 seconds and either recycle/reboot or go into vista which blows up and...

The Christmas/New Year break will soon be upon us, and I've started considering what this year's project is going to require. Last years project: P4PE is still no slouch..... So the question is: What to go for for the most fun/bang for our buck/quid for its new stablemate?? I'm a long way from...

Swift Pump by Corey
My Swiftech pump is leaking. I thought I read somewhere that it was also a submersible pump. Can I submerse it in a res to avoid leak issues? Will that affect my pressure if I do? Thanks.

Am I Correct? by
I have a P4 2.8 800 fsb, running DDR 466 ram, I am able to get the CPU to overclock better than when I was running DDR 433 ram. If I used DDR 500 ram, cpu would clock higher? What would a 3.2g cpu with DDR dual channel 500 or more overclock too? Am I correct in this thinking?

P4 2.4c on Asus P4B533 (845) by Muntz
Hi, I'm considering buying a P4 2.4c for my P4B533. I've been using the dipswitch trick to oc my P4 1.8 to 2.6 and keep the 3:4 multiplier to run the ram at ~400Mhz. With the 2.4c, in order to overclock to about 3Ghz (usually within the chip's capabilities) I'd have to run the FSB at 250Mhz (and...

What's going wrong? by benj
Hi all, I can't manage to get my XP-M2500+ processor running at more than 200 x 9.5 =1900mhz! I have built my PC out of specially chosen components so I can overclock the processor 'to over XP3200 speeds'. As you can imagine I'm getting frustrated with this situation. The PC just doesn't...

768MB PC3200 in an nForce2 mobo - is it worth it? by Jorge Stephenson
I am currently running TwinMOS 256mb in a Soltek SL-75FRN2-L. I want to add more RAM, but I am nit sure if it is worth doing 2 x 512mb or 3 x 256mb. I need at least 768mb due to file sizes I work with, but would rather not spend the extra cash on 1GB if I don't have do. In short, what I want to...

Fan grills = greater air flow? by Anton G˙sen
Does putting finger guards on your fans get more air flowing into the fan? It sounds mad to be but according to the website of a very knowledgable fan seller it does. Thanks in advance, Anton

Biostar M6VLR by Moderately Confused
Ok, so I know it's not the best board in the world, but its worked for me so far, and its been pretty stable. I'm running a PIII 800 Mhz chip in it and I've managed to get it to run stable at 915 Mhz. My question is, is there a way to change the voltage with a Biostar mobo? I've been through all...

Settings P4P800 with 2.8 CPU please!! by Frank Weston
I suspect the BIOS "upgrade" is the source of your problems. Why not go back to the old BIOS and see? I'm running a 2.8 800FSB on an ASUS P4P Deluxe (1007 BIOS), OCZ PC3700 memory, Win2k SP4 and my system runs best at 240 FSB and memory divider 4:5. Running the memory in sync at slower FSB does...

THOSE ANNOYING POP UP MESSAGES. by Skid

Overclocking a Q6600 on Asus P5KC by Herzog
Hi, as subject... it runned at 3 GHZ nicely for a while, but suddently it started rebooting as soon as Windows loaded with a blue screen and c000021a error. I suspect it has something to do with voltage leaks since it started giving error when i removed and reinstalled a KVM switch.. as soon as...
