Hello,
I'm trying to debug the above board using GDB with OcdLibRemote under CygWin.
I'm starting OcdLibRemote: /usr/local/bin/OcdLibRemote -x xscale
The message is gotten:
Started listening socket on port 8888
OcdLibRemote XSCALE: RAVEN via LPT 1 at speed : 1
Now I'm starting GDB: ...

Intel CT = Clackamas Technology? by
Yousuf Khan
Well, Intel's tradition of finding the most embarrassingly stupid names on
the planet and naming their technology after it continues. Just when you
thought that they couldn't get much stupider than Yamhill or Tuckwilla,
they've outdone themselves, Clackamas Technology!...

How to install new SATA drives in RAID 0? by
[email protected]
I'm building a new system. I just got 2 Maxtor SATA hard drives. I
will be installing WinXP as OS. Do I need to format and partion the
hard drives with the Maxtor-supplied CD before I start the XP/RAID 0
installation? Or will XP see that they're not formatted or partioned
and do it first before...

WinXP for AMD64 preview now available by

Not sure what the difference is between a "customer preview" and a beta, but
I guess since it's Microsoft, it really doesn't matter. :-)

Newbie Question by
Walt
Hello All, let me start by saying, I am sure glad I found this group.
After just building my first computer, and winging it all the way, it is
up and seems to be running fine, for the last week.
I built it using a D875PBZ mother board, and a 3.02 cpu. I am using two
Maxtor 120G SATA Hardrives, and ...

D865GBF Updated to BIOS P12 by
Walter
Might be a bad BIOS. Intel has pulled Bios version P12 off of their
Website and substituted Bios P11 for it. If anybody knows why, please
post, as Intel hasn't indicated why they have pulled P12 or
acknowledged that they have pulled it (but it isn't there anymore).

The Zilog Z80 is better than Intel crap by
Lester T. Linpord
I think the Intel CPU´s are really bad and PCs would be much more
advanced today if they´d use a Zilog Z80.
Intel always made crap CPUs full of bugs.

Quietest fan for 2.8/800 for under $30? by
Jim
I'd like to get a VERY quiet fan for a P4 2.8Ghz /800MHz CPU. I'm not
looking for anything water cooled or using the peltier method since I'm
trying to keep the price down to $30. Thermaltake has some really quiet
ones for the AMD64 but nothing like them as far as I can see for the P4.
There...
