Burning Audio at 24x With Sony DRU 510A With Power Burn Enabled. Does it effect quality of produced discs?
Was wondering if burning audio CDs created from lossless wavs on a Western Digital 120GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive at 24x with a Sony DRU 510A using Power Burn can negatively effect the quality of produced discs? |

Translation or guesswork required; I will try guesswork. Barring error in the recording, the sound from the CD burned as you described will be identical with that of (redbook) WAVs on the hard drive. If the medium is poorly matched to burner and speed, errors may be significant and the sound will be degraded. Mike -- http://www.mrichter.com/ |
