Default b/w toner cart. for Brother

I have a Brother HL-2140 b/w laser printer.

It's soon gonna need a toner cartridge, TN-360. This "long life"
cartridge is good for claimed 2,600 pages.

Doing a "GOOGLE shopping" I see this Brother cartridge for abt. $45.

A "compatible" version of this same cartridge is abt $20.

Are you folks having good luck with "compatible" cartridges, or would
I be better off paying over twice as much for a true Brother
cartridge?

Thank you......

Lee
