Five year warranty - India

We are looking for brand name PC's where the manufacturer is willing to
provide some form of extended warranty, IN INDIA (which is where our
customer is). It's easy enough to get five year warranties from Dell
(simply mail a blank check f.a.o. M.Dell) but you cannot transfer this
warranty to another country unless the machine concerned is a laptop.

Any suggestions?

I suppose you would have to look to internationally-marketed brands,
possibly Acer, HP, Compaq? HP seem to have an Indian website - I haven't
looked at the others.

I think that you will find that HCL make and sell more computers there than
anyone else - may be worth looking to them ?
