acer aspire 5000 memory ???
I have an acer aspire 500 series, the 5002 wlmi
it runs xp home sp2 with 2 x 256 memory sticks both are ddr333, i want to upgrade the memory to 2 gig, i know it says in the book 1 gig only but i went to crucial.com & downloaded the memory checker software ran it & it says i can upgrade to two 1 gig chips. anyone done this on an aspire. zack. -- Life begins as a quest of the child for the man, and ends as a journey by the man to rediscover the child (Lost World Of The Kalahari)

yes, it will work i currently have 2gigs in my 5002.
