With a packet sniffer, the message returned on post is:

441 220

Normally, the message consists of a number, plus
a descriptive text string. In this case, the newsreader
grabs the "220" part, thinking it is a descriptive string.

The actual error is 441 "Post Failed".

Perhaps Ray is on vacation.
