HD mess
I have a Compaq Presario 8000T with an 80gb ide hard drive. I want to
transfer the drive's contents to my 200gb hd which has my previous windows installation. The 200gb hd is attached to a promise ata133 controller, while the 80 is connected to the onboard ide. The idea would be to boot the windows installation I have on the 80gb on the 200gb hd. What would be the easiest way to accomplish this? |

Norton Ghost would do it.

Seagate's SeaTools will do it, even if neither drive is a Seagate. Seatools is
a free download. Used it many times in situations similar to yours. Never a problem...
