Abby fine reader changes old s to new f
I'm translating an old French text. And the s looks almost like an f.
Is there a way of forcing it to recognise these old s as new s rather than new f? Thanks in advance. |

oups.com... I'm translating an old French text. And the s looks almost like an f. Is there a way of forcing it to recognise these old s as new s rather than new f? Thanks in advance. I am not familiar with Abbyy fine reader, I use OmniPage Pro 15 for my OCR. Look for a training function in Abbyy Fine reader where you can tell Abbyy to read the character 'f' to be an 's'. Version 8 user guide: http://fr7.abbyy.com/fr80/guides/Guide_English.pdf Check Page 21, 24, 25 in the above pdf. Training to recognize a character is on page 25 of the above pdf. -- CSM1 http://www.carlmcmillan.com -- |
