Default Wax in HP LaserJet 4000 toner?

I have not been able to find out if the Canon toner used in the HP
LaserJet 4000 [in the 1997-2000 time frame] incorporated wax as a
release agent. The MSDS for this toner does not mention any wax in
the formulation but the article in Recharger (http://
www.rechargermag.com/articles/31205/) implies an ester wax was used in
the formulation.

Anyone know the details?

Mike
