Windows XP x64

Where/how did you find these links?

And can anyone verify that these are in fact legitimate?

I had no problem downloading the drivers for XP. The install screen
gives the choice of the drivers and/or the control panel. They
installed fine on my computer.

I installed the CCC drivers and they appear to work OK. I don't understand

Avoided it until now but thought it was time I tried it. So far so good,
maybe they ironed out the kinks. Page file use is the same as it was
before, I do have 1.5GB of PC3200 RAM tho'

They *hide* it? You mean it is still possible to d/l it?

Please, please let us have a link.

It is bloated, uses more memory than the good old CP and does not add
any useful functionality AFAICS. I just like to run my PC lean and
mean g.

They do *HIDE* it.

Here's how I found the CP version;

Start here :
https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...ge&folderID=27

Follow this :

Drivers & software
Windows XP
FireMV
FireMV 2400 PCI
Catalyst 5.12 for Windows XP/2000
Display Driver, Control Panel
Download the file.
Your done!

Would just like the CP as a separate file if possible.

Well guys you can always simply use the drivers by themselves.

Yes, and then install ATI Tray Tools to get the vid card settings.

That's the ticket. Full access to all settings and no bloatware. Btw.,
Omegadrive came through and has decided to stick with the CP for his
drivers. Ati may try as they might, there will always be options without the
CCC.
