Default Look for Sound Cards and Modems for a 486 system

I am working on restoring an Old 486DX2100.
I need a Sound Card preferably an 8 bit or 16 bit Creative with a low
Model Number that has an Install floppy with it.
I also need to find a 28.8 Modem with an Install floppy. I have the
system up and running with WFW 3.11 on it. But unlike W95 it is not easy
to get some cards recognized.
I don't have a Credit Card so can't use PayPal so E-Bay is closed to me
a source.
I am hoping someone has something in their Junk Box
I've exhausted all the ones I have and can't find any that I can get
recognized on the system
I got an 8 bit USR on the system but the IRQ and address can't be set to
match what the system looks for for a MODEM
TIA

You don't need a credit card to use Paypal. People do accept cheques
and postal orders on Ebay.

Here's a used one.

Driver is here, download and copy to floppy.

What motherboard? The modem should be on COM3 and IRQ4, unless IRQ4 is in
use by something else. If you've got a modem that can't use COM3/IRQ4, that
is a very unusual modem. -Dave

Hey Bob

I'm in Milwaukee and I have plenty of ISA modems and sound cards that I'd
gladly get rid of.

No charge other than postage (unless you are also in Milwaukee and want to
pickup)

Yep, even the ones that state, "Paypal Only" will most often accept a Postal
Money Order if you ask them nicely. No big deal.

Wonder why youre torturing yourself with 3.11. If it has 24M or better
it would run 95 no problem.

You can get a driver for most modems online free, so no need for a
floppy in most cases. First place I'd look for isa cards would be
freecycle. Failing that, try a wanted ad in the local paper. If it
doesnt have 64M RAM, so get some, makes quite a difference on a dino.
(More than 64M and you run into problems)

95 and 3.11... no comparison! You could even use it online (easily)
with 95.

Thanks to all who responded. I was able to acquire several Modems and
Sound cards which I was able to get working on my 486DX2 & DX4 machines
Thanks
Bob
