64Mb 9000 Mobile Radeon Driver Question
Hi
My notebook (Rock Quaddra XT) has the 64 Mb 9000 Mobile Radeon AGP card and I'm trying to use a second monitor (Philips 30in LCD TV) with a VGA port. I'm getting no signal at all on the LCD TV (although the dual monitor is showing its connected). I'ved tried a desktop PC with the LCD TV on its own and it works fine. I'ved tried changing to lower refreshes and resolutions as well as higher but no luck.I'm getting no info about the LCD TV ( no DDC info) on the laptop.I'ved tried every setting under the sun. The laptop works ok with a Taxan monitor as secondary but wont work with the LCD TV. The drivers I'm using are the 6.14.10.6334 version supplied by the manufacturer. They have no other version. Is there a third party version I could try or is there a updated version? The ATI mobile driver section keeps referring me to my manufacturer. Any help much appreciated. TIA George |
