Default Ebuyer and returns

Ordered first time from ebuyer.
Delivered on that day that they said they would.

Slight problem, delivered a network switch instead of CDRW.

Does anyone have any experience of ebuyer collecting goods at thier expense?

Good thing I paid by CC.

cheers

Simply raise an enote and tell them what day you want them to collect.
Its fairly straight forward

Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

Arrange a date & time to exchange it with them. Calling them is quicker than
leaving enote.

I suggest picking up a copy of the bible or good book for whatever
religion you subscribe too. If you don't and are agnostic or an
athiest this will soon change anyway so the same advice is good.

I'd ring them too, inform them you'd appriciate the item you ordered
and for them to collect the network switch on delivery of that item.

I'll say a prayer for you still.

Why?

In case ebuyer cocks up and refuses/won't/can't send the item he actually
ordered?

He can then do a chargeback.

No he can't... unless his goods are over £100 in value.

Actually most credit card companies will do chargebacks under £100 as
regardless of the cost they are jointly responsible for the correct
item being delivered.

Not necessarily.

The Consumer Credit Act only makes the credit grantor jointly liable
for items with a cash price between £100 and £30000 (inc VAT). The
credit card provider *may* offer a charge back for transactions not
covered by the act, but they are not obliged to do so.
