Default Tom's Hardware System Builds

Tom's hardware has several articles where they built gaming machines at
various price levels. The lowest price was $800 but people had strong
opinions about it and they did another article priced at $500.

The $500 gaming machine has a little too much compromise in it for my
tastes, so, I hope they do not drop builds like the $800 one in future
articles.

Many responses talked about AMD vs Intel. For a low cost, higher value
machine, AMD is the proper choice. Tom's hardware's own charts show AMD as
offering more bang for the buck at many levels.
