DELL 8300 and SBLive Problem
When I try to update the SB drivers on this (XP Home) system the
Creative installer says there's no Creative Audio card there, It shows clearly in every list - Control Panel, Sound, etc. I reported this to Creative, but all of their suggestions failed. DELL support access doesn't work - I guess it's overloaded, because it keeps coming back to ask for the Service Tag or model, which I enter correctly. I have an ATI AIW 9000 that works. Could it be masking the SB card making it invisible to the installer.
