Default Blue Screen after installing PC 2700 333MHZ memory in Dell 4550 with 533FSB

I have been using my dell 4550 (2.66GHZ with 533MHZ FSB and 128MB DDR
SDRAM 333MHZ PC 2700 memory) for the last two months.

Just yesterday, I tried to install memory upgrade of 512MB DDR SDRAM
333MHZ PC 2700 memory in my computer. After I booted the system, the
first screen showed that the memory has changed, but after that I got
the blue screen of death. Tried booting it again in safe mode, etc.
but still blue screen.

The original 128MB in my computer is SAMSUNG and the new memory is
also SAMSUNG.

Does the blue screen mean that the new memory is BAD? Do I need
another brand / specs of memory?

Before the upgrade I used Crucial and Dell's memory configurator to
ensure that the memory I need is PC 2700 333MHZ 184pin unbuffered
memory

Thanks

Default

It is either faulty or incompatible (does the CAS rating match the other
memory)?
Does that memory work solo (removing the original RAM)?
