Canon FS4000 question
I've recently returned to shooting slides instead of negative film and
was wondering if there is any "best" way to feed them into my Canoscan FS4000. Is there any advantage to using the film carrier or the slide carrier? Would there be any advantage to having my slides not mounted and left in film strips to use in the film strip carrier? If it matters, I am using Vuescan software. Just wondering, Gridley |

If it matters, I am using Vuescan software. Just wondering, Gridley It should not matter if the positive transparency is in a film strip or if mounted in slides. You would be able to scan up to 6 images in the film strip holder, and only four images in the slide holder. The only thing I would think about is the handling of the film. Film strips would require a little more care to not scratch them. -- CSM1 http://www.carlmcmillan.com -- |
