ATI?AMD HD Radion Drivers
It looks like the 10.11 driver version has improved things a bit!
Crysis has far fewer problems at the maximum settings Cinibench Works properly, after having problems with various 10.xx driver versions and the car chase. |

Nvidia posted a claim of performance cheating against these drivers, has AMD responded yet? rms |

I don't think so-- Yet, the Nvidia and AMD GPU's are quite different. A test optimized for Nvidia won't be as fast on an AMD, just as the reverse can be true as well. My gripe about both was that for whatever reasons, the drivers have had problems, and it's taken longer than I like to gen most of the bugs out. Naturally, the problems have been mainly with games that stress the cards. Both Mfrs have "crippled" performance under some stress conditions, and Nvidia did so with a real vengeance against AMD. (SLI vs AMD MBD chipsets -- Nvidia driver code deliberately prevents SLI, and requires patches to get SLI working properly with AMD chipsets.) It also looked like Microsoft's development software and documentation might be part of the problem. |
