It's certainly wrong in my case. My cell phone is the only phone I have. I switched
from landline to cell about 4 years ago and have never looked back.

I imagine large numbers of people have been *saved* by mobile phones.
Without a portable communication device they would have died after getting
into serious trouble.

The world can survive without humans too. Not sure that's something anyone
would advocate

Old-fashion fixed line phones can still be useful. Why must everyone
carry a mobile phone and move around? Isn't it redundant?

The world can survive without humans too. Not sure that's something anyone

The world doesn't need to exist at all. But it's created as a big toy
for Gods?

Don't be addicted to mobile gadgets. I think we really don't need that
many mobile phones which are basically toys now. We could reduce the
number without affecting economy and health.

Why do we need so many battery-powered toys? For GLOBAL pollution? Oh
well...

I am not those super duper scientists. And I don't manage nor control
those toy factories.

It can do without all kinds of motor vehicles too.

Especially sport cars! We still need tools to transport food, water
clothes and fuel... those basic human rights stuffs.

What? Even half-way up a mountain? A landline is of no use if you're stuck
on a precipice with a broken leg...
