Default Mad DOG Dominator - Ultima - Artec WRR-52X CD-RW issue.

Hi,

Anyone know how to make WRR-52X CD-RW work in Windows2000? I have
SP4. It is working in Windows ME but not in Windows 2000, which is my
primary OS in this pc. In fact in W2K its not even show-up in the My
Computer devices/drives. My old Artec CD-RW x24 tray broke and gone
out of alignment.

1) I tried with the jumper select in all 3 modes (Master, Slave and
Cable).
2) I run Windows Update to pickup any updates if available.
3) When started after attaching the CD-RW W2K recognised it as Artec
WRR-52X.
4) On the 2nd reboot, the CD-RW is not in drives list.

Upgrading OS to WinXP is not an option as this system is very old and
will be replaced soon.

The System is a Pentium II, 266MHz, 128MB.

Appreciate any help.

Sam.
