bought one from dabs about 2 weeks ago and they are refusing to
replace it despite it having a dead pixel. it was a samsung.

Yes that is exactly what I am saying. I contacted the DTI, the OFT,
their local branch of Trading Standards and generally made it clear
that I would see them in court, and eventually they backed down.
