NetAPP ASIS De-Duplication for unstructured data
Hi out there, hope you are all having a good weekend!
So a quick question for you all - has anyone completed a large deployment of netapp files for an "archive tier of data" for CIFS type evironment (and unstructured data) - if so, i would like some idea of the level of de-duplication / capacity save you are getting. Any comments would be really useful Cheers, B |

We've run some tests and some aggregates get about 20%, others around 65%. You should contact your rep and see if they have a way of giving you some real stats on your data. ~F |
