Epson Stylus C62 and Sublimation ink problem!
I have a new Epson Stylus C86 printer to print Sublimation ink for printing
on mugs. Printer model name: EPSON Stylus C86 Computer Type: PC,Operating System: Windows 98, Interface: USB (Universal Serial Bus) The problem is when I print out an image for the mug the blue color in the image comes out dark purple, I have contacted Epson support and they are helping a little but they tell me they do not support any other ink in their printers. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I did the head cleaning then the print nozzle check pattern and it was OK and there was no gaps in the lines. Thanks for any help! George |

I have downloaded and installed the new ICC profile from the ink
manufacturer and printed again with no improvement. I have used PSP7 and MS Paint with both programs giving the same results. I need more help! Thanks George "George" wrote in message ... You need to contact the dye-sub ink company and ask if they provide
printer profiles for their inks. Printer driver profiles are designed for specific inks and papers (or in your case surfaces you are printing to). They all differ. Epson cannot design the necessary profiles for every ink and paper type, so either you get one made professionally and pay a fee for it, or, if you are lucky, someone else has made one and will provide you with it (the ink company, or another user). I will tell you that blues are one of the biggest problems in inkjet printing, in fact, in most color printing.
