Default Does a Legacy USB Adapter Exist?

Hey,

Does anybody know if there exists a 32-bit CardBus (type I, II, or III) or 16-bit
PC Card for a notebook PC that can provide the capability to boot from an external
USB disk drive? Basically, I am looking for (what most folks call) a "legacy" USB
adapter. Legacy USB is a bootable variant of the "regular" USB. This would be for
a HP Pavilion zd7000 series notebook.

Thanks,

- Gordon
