Default Drive Image 7.0 Backup to CD-R

Does anyone use Drive Image 7.0 to back up to CD-R?
I cannot get the program to work with my CD-R recorder, a TDK 24-10-40.

I need help and Powerquest is slow to respond to my e-mail.

Thanks

Joe, I have been waiting for someone who has version 7.0 to answer ...
I have backed up to CD-R with Drive Image 2002 without any problems.
It is the first thing that the "Wizard" suggests that you do. System
WinXP.

I have also backed up to CD-R using Drive Image 2.0 with my Win98
system, but not directly. It was done by first creating the image in
about 650MB segments and burning these to CD.

That said, I see little reason to use CDs for anything but a "once a
year backup". My weekly backups...(OK monthly :-) ) are made to the
hard drive. It is much faster, and if you want a little extra
security, you can use a separate HD and disconnect it between BUs.
(or if you want to get fancy...use a removable HD drawer :-) ).

Richard
