Default ati video on demand is great - export sucks

The video on demand is great, brings a new way to watch
tv!!

(MMC 8.5)
But the export method really sucks.
Exporting everything record is easy, but if you just want to
export part of it, you'll in trouble.
The window let you select a time & length, you don't really know where
the clip is, you have to go back to watch the clip , move to & fro,
and read the time. Go back to the export & select it.
The point is, why the export window just take where the screen is as
the start? instead of always default to the very beginning??
& there is nothing to assist your selection.
&, select by 1 minute is too coast.

Alternatively, just right click the Record button on the ATI Control.
