Get data from ST506 to modern disk!
Challenge:
Get data from ST506 to modern computer Resources: Old machine Dos 3 and ST506 disk Middle aged machine with Windows 95 and an ISA port Modern PC Approach so far: Plug ST506 into middle age machine- middle age machine boots to dos 3 and cannot see its IDE hard-drive (due to way ST506 works by using a bios hook) Dos 3 also does not support 3.5" floppy drive so using middle age machine floppy does not work my last idea was to use a null modem cable, but I've no idea what to use in dos 3 to transfer the files this way! Can anyone help? |
