Thinking of upgrading existing P11 machine and wondering if I need to
upgrade the psu also? Existing power supply is 235watts.

Proposed system to be something like:-

Gigabyte GA-7N400

Athlon XP2600

500MB Crucial

Cheapest 120MB video card

1 x WD 120MB hard disc - probably add another similar later

Modem

Network connection

Floppy, CDRom, CDRW etc

Not a gamer.

Thanks.

Definately, you should... (reasonable 300W) especially for such a powerfull
Athlon or you have to expect some power difficulties.

You'd be better off with a XP2500 Barton core, real world performance is
faster than XP2600 due to the larger cache size.

yes to the psu
