Default (possibly OT) Doubts about temps in Asus a7n8x-x

Hi folks,

I installed MBM 5 to keep an eye on my temps. MBM's website
directions say which one is the CPU sensor I have to look at (the
diode). To my confusion, I noticed some things:

Asus 2 sensor, socket temp(I think), goes up and down with load,
that's easy to figure out.

The sensor with a weird name: Socket sensor according to the MBM
website, stays all the time , load or idling, at 47, occassionally
going up to 49. It's a bit strange, because most people said that
diode temps ussually fluctuate more proportionally to CPU load than
the socket temp.

So, could anyone explain why 10 hrs of F@H doesn't raise the load
value of the 47 degree sensor more than 2 degrees? (the other sensor
raises from 30 to 42, and this is the one displayed by the BIOS, this
behaviour I find more typical)

Thanks for the help

M
