Default MMC 8.5 and Hyper-Threading?

I just recently purchased an Abit IS7-E and one of the new P4s with the
800MHz FSB, and I thought I read somewhere that either the Catalyst drivers
and/or MMC 8.x's MPEG codec don't work with Hyper-Threading.

Has anybody else had issues with the AIW cards (particularly the 8500DV) and
Hyper-Threading, and if so, what other PVR software works well with that
card?

I've e-mailed ATI about this, but I'm still waiting for an answer to the
last question I asked them...three months ago.
