hit f1 to resume
Hello,
Somewhere along the way my one year old boxed 845BGL system started to hang after post on the 'hit F12 to boot from network'. I have disabled all boot devices except the hard drive. There is no second boot device. Can anybody tell me how to get this dang thang to boot up without me standing there to 'press F1 to resume'....:^) Thanks! -- Remove NO if replying via email Steve Hoffmann http://www.sphoto.com Landscapes, zoo animals and Macro photography of insects and flowers Digital imaging tech tips and equipment reviews |

I have a new Dell Dimension XPS which has the 875P chipset, probably tweaked by Dell. The BIOS is certainly tweaked by Dell. I find that I get the 'press F1 to resume' message if and only if I have the Serial ATA (SATA) controllers enabled. I don't have any SATA devices in my box, either. Odd. -- David Arnstein |
