system clock losses time
"RHS" wrote in message ... wrote in message .. . My system clock periodically losses time. Sometimes it is hours, sometimes days. Is this a known and fixable problem? System is a Dell Dimension 8200 with 512mb of memory. It serves as the host computer of a small home network with 3 others on line. It is also the source of satellite internet connection using ICS. This system shares a modem, keyboard and monitor via a kvm switch. I can't relate the time losses to any specific kind of events or uses. Ken Replace the battery on your motherboard. RHS Any feedback as to whether it worked or not? |
