English plural of virus = viruses


In Latin, viri (men) is plural of vir (man)


In Latin, I do not think there are recorded any instances of a plural
form for virus being different from the singular (in English words

Odd. I could have sworn that I had included a URL to a site which explained
some of that. I wonder why it didn't post? Anyway, you are referring to a
'mass' noun, of which some English nouns qualify, and most Japanese nouns. I
promise to include sarcasm tags next time.
