Default Audigy Issues

Hey guys,

Sorry for the crosspost guys but i didn't seem to get any response from the
creative.products.sound_blaster.audigy Newsgroup. I'm hoping that maybe we
can address the problem i'm having here

I'm out of town and away from all of my computers cd's, which included my
audigy install cd. I had a Abit NF7 v 2.0 shipped to me and i'm running into
a small problem now.

When i download the drivers for my card, the software says that it's unable
to find my card.
AUD_EAX4DRV_031031.EXE is the file i'm trying to use.

After a while of not being able to install the driver the normal way i
extracted the files and installed the driver on my own. The card is putting
out great sound like it always does, but i'm not able to use the EAX
features at all.

So my question is, What would cause the update file to say that it can't
find my card, is there a way around that so that i can use the newest
drivers and get the full eax 4.0 features?

I've heard that it is possible to use Audigy 2 drivers for the card as well,
how does that work?
Is there Benifits to using the Audigy2 drivers?
If i should use them, how should i install them?

Just so that you guys know, i'm running an AMD 3200+ on a NF7 version 2.0,
SB Audigy 0090 (oem). MSI 6600GT video card. I have the latest Nvidia
drivers for my board, and for my video card.

Sorry about the long post, But any information wouldbe helpful

Thanks Guys,
Chris
