Default New purchase

I have orig soundblaster live. Thinking of upgrading to Audigy 2. Will keep
same speaker system 4.1 Altec lansing. I play Half-life 2 and Need for speed
underground 2. Dont use computer to watch DVD's but do use it as my stereo
system. Would Audigy be a noticable upgrade?
