Default P4C800-E DELUXE ref to previous post

I did not express one of my problems well. If I have 80 pin drives and 40
pin connectors on the mobo is there jumpers or such?

All drives is 40 pin. All connectors is 40 pin.

To supply a bit more information than another poster:

The connectors are the same for 40 and 80 wire cables. The extra 40 wires on
an 80 conductor cable are all grounds (for shielding purposes).

On many 80 wire cables, the end that plugs into the IDE controller is a
different color than the others. (Blue is common.)

The only 80 pin drive I ever saw was a SCSI SCAM-80 disk. You can
see the connector at http://shoppcs.net/goods_img/scsi_80pin_general.jpg

To use such a disk, You need a SCSI Card and a scsi adaptor 78 to 80
pin.
