Default OT domain registration

Think of registering a domain for myself and want to access url's through
isp with potential for shifting isp in future at minimal expense. Any
advice would be appreciated. Looked at mydomain.com and it was confusing.

Frank,

I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but, in doing my own research, I'm
very impressed with www.godaddy.com. Very inexpensive to register a domain,
and they provide all the necessary options fairly cheap..

I guess, what I'm saying, is I have an isp and wonder how to set up. The
registration seems cheap but then there are email options etc. Mainly I
want to set up my small business urls so they look more business like.
Currently, for example you get
http://www.dol.net/~frank.logullo/consult.html and I would like to have for
example http://www.logullo.com/consult.html.

Think I'm answering my own question. Hosting is where they nail you. My
isp charges about $300/yr plus $50 to get domain name or transfer in domain
name. I assume you can do it through others but also pay and have to put up
with their system.
Not worth the bother to me.
