yes, thats right.

fsb will effect the entire system
multiplier will effect only the cpu.

in general, up the fsb will increase your system performance and is the
first thing you tweak, making data transfer faster, and ending with a faster
pc in general.
tweak multiplier once the fsb is max'ed out, to max out your cpu.

then theres the issue of cpu (vcore) voltage. more voltage = more
overclockable cpu.

*******HOWEVER*******
any overclocking will result in higher tempurature - probably meaning you`ll
need a heat sink upgrade

Thanks all,so to clarify upping the fsb and raising multipliers are two
different
ways of o'cing......is that right?
me thinks i need to do more homework =)

http://www.ocinside.de/go_e.html?/ht..._workshop.html

and select which page you wish - wire or paint mod guide.
you shouldnt need to mod the L11's (cpu voltages) - these will be adjustable
in the mainbaord BIOS, as will FSB. the only mod you need is the multiplier
settings. - either preset, or 'unlock' status.

if you look futher down the 'workshop' page, then your motherboard is listed
for a volt mod. YOU NEED SERIOUS COOLING FOR THIS. either a high end air
cooler, or invest in watercooling.
to set the VR, set to *maximum* resistance (use an ohm meter before
soldering to your mainboard), and your BIOS voltage to the lowest setting.
do the volt mod, and run BIOS/voltage measurement software (MBM5 etc). then
adjust your VR so it's higher than the bios reading. as it says on the volt
mod page, set to around +0.25v above BIOS. (1.5v BIOS, 1.75v reality etc)

as every system and component has different limits your system will become
unstable and crash. the main overclocking barrier is ram limits. ram isnt
too keen on being fsb overclocked too much (not the extent that cpus do
atleast). i have PC3200 twinMOS ram, and it doesnt like going more than
210fsb (200fsb is it's sold rating). but apart from this, fiddle with fsb,
multipliers and a little more voltage till your heart is content!
