Default video card and tv tuner card questions

I have a couple of questions:

1. I'm on a budget (i.e. can't and don't want the very latest and most
expensive card)

2. I want the best possible PVR/TV card. Would that be from ATI in the form
of a standalone or the all-in-wonder? What about Hauppauge? Is there a TV
card that stands far above the rest in terms of picture quality, ease of
use, etc?

3. I'm leaning toward the ATI 9600 Pro. I need a nice DVI card. Seems highly
rated.

4. Please help! I want to get a card(s) before Christmas!!!

Avoid ATI like the plague if you want a TV tuner.

Go for that video card it is a nice one :b
I like the Leadtek WinFast TV 2000 XP Deluxe TV / FM Tuner Card, it's not
too expensive and has a lot to offer. Have a look at the website
http://www.leadtek.com
