Any Dual GPU Cards for GEForce 8 Series?
In the GEForce 7 family, the 7950 was an interesting card because it
combined two GPUs connected by SLI directly onto a single card. Is there a similar product for the GEForce 8 family? Is such a card planned or announced? -- Will |

Is such a card planned or announced? The existence of the Nforce 200 bridge, makes it possible to build "GX2" style video cards in the future. Another block diagram, shows the Nforce200 can also connect to up to four other devices, making it possible to interconnect four GPUs. Whether they choose to do it, really depends on whether their next monster chip is ready or not. (I haven't seen an announcement, and I'm "reading the tea leaves" here.) With the reduced power consumption of the 8800GT, it might be possible to put two of them together in a "GX2" style two board module. http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...spx?i=3180&p=2 Paul |

Read the last paragraph:
http://www.vr-zone.com/articles/Nvid...R680/5404.html If VR-Zone is right (it usually is), the dual-G92 solution, called D9E, should be available in February. -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. I'm looking into getting a dual-TFT monitor setup for my home office and I want to have DVI for both monitors. I've only found two graphics cards that will do this: the Matrox P-series (Parhelia, P650 and P750) and the Asus 9560.
