USR Sportster upgrade?
Does anyone know the difference between the 005686-xx modems? I see v.92 upgrades for 00568602 and 00568603 (USR5686B & USR5686C) I have a 00568600... which according to USR is the 5686 model for US/Canada, no revision. To me, I would assume that it should be upgradable... ( and I don't see why there should be different files ofr the other revisions) |

Check with USR support first. The -xx number may not be a revision of the
model for the modem but instead differentiates the chipset used in them. The -02 and -03 may use a different chipset than your -00 model, so yours may not be v.92 upgradable. -- __________________________________________________ _____ ** Share with others.
