Default I need help solving beeping

Perhaps someone will help you if you describe what else
happens. Like how many beeps, what does the computer do,
make and model of the computer or the motherboard.

I have a 5 year old machine. Win 98 and some extra hardware also. PC

runs
okay then starts beeping after an hour or so. Fans are spinning. I

don't
know what else to look for.
Any advice is welcome.
Thank You'

It doesn't happen on startup. It's when the computer has been on for a
while. It's a beep constantly about 1/2 a second apart. Some warning I
presume. Not sure the make of the motherboard but I know it's 233mhz.
Pentium 2.
Hope this helps.

Either out of spec voltages on the motherboard or overheating....

Check CMOS settings for overheating alarm.
