Default Nero Express

A year ago I built a new computer and bought a Liteon writer. It came
with Nero and Nero Express. Both icons on the desktop. It is version
5.5.9.2 and it works well.

So, I recently installed in my wife's cousin's computer a Liteon and
it came with Nero Express. That is only Nero Express. What has
happened to Nero Burning?

The problem is that after burning a disk Word crashed. Now all the
drivers of XP are dodgy and it won't boot up, except to the blue
screen of death. The screen says that new hardware or software has
caused the problem. We have disconnected the CD writer and told the
BIOS that it doesn't exist, but the problem persists.

Does this happen often with Nero and what's the best move now? We
didn't get round to making a boot up disk.

Most likely, the problem is due to the crash, not the burner or Nero. The
Word crash may not even be related to Nero. Suggest a repair install of XP,
or revert to last known good config. In terms of system stability, Nero is
one of the least problematic burning programs around. InCD is another story,
and should not be installed, although some of the OEM install CD's do not
give you an option to skip installing it.
