Any advice on buying cd-rw? Are all CDs rewritable btw? I bought a generic (I/O Magic) burner at OfficeMax last month (52x24x52) for $15.00 after a $30.00 rebate. It's got a one-year warranty, and has worked great so far. I'll wait to spend more money on a burner when DVD burners come down a little in price. Otherwise, the Lite-On models get good reviews, and most of them come with Nero. As far as CDR media, I buy the made in Japan FUJI brand as they are made by Taiyo Yuden, and cost $15.00 for a 50 count package. I don't use CD-RW media so I cannot comment on them. Jon |

T-Y media has been good in any burner I've used. -- Winerr 012 - Cash Underflow - Credit Card Number Will Be Assimilated |

Lite-On here for cd-r/rw and dvd+r/rw.
Good dollar to what you get ratio. I've been using Liteon optical drives and Western Digital hard drives for years now. Seagate, Maxtor and IBM suck the ripe banana.... Bob Troll zalzon wrote: Any advice on buying cd-rw? Are all CDs rewritable btw? |
